MTK IT Services (OPC) Private Limited, operating under the brand name BluCypher, is committed to delivering high-quality cybersecurity services. This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for our professional consulting and security services.
Engagements may be cancelled before the agreed-upon kickoff date for a full refund of any advance payments. If cancellation is requested after the engagement has commenced, a pro-rated refund will be calculated based on work completed and deliverables produced to date. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@blucypher.com.
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances: (1) the contracted service was not delivered as defined in the statement of work; (2) the engagement did not commence within the mutually agreed timeline due to reasons attributable to BluCypher; or (3) a material deviation from the agreed scope was identified and not resolved. All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our engagement management team.
The following are not eligible for refund: completed security assessments and delivered reports; consumed consulting hours; training sessions that have been conducted; any third-party tools, licences, or infrastructure costs procured on behalf of the client; and emergency incident response engagements where containment actions have already been taken.
Approved refunds will be processed within 15–30 business days and credited via the original payment method. For bank transfer payments, refunds will be issued to the originating account. Clients will receive written confirmation once the refund has been initiated, along with a reference number for tracking purposes.
In the event of a dispute regarding services or refunds, clients are encouraged to first contact their assigned account manager for direct resolution. If the matter is not resolved within 15 business days, it may be escalated to our Director of Operations. All disputes will be handled in accordance with the terms agreed upon in the service contract and governed by the laws of India.
Individual engagements may include additional or superseding cancellation and refund terms as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) or service agreement. In the event of a conflict between this general policy and engagement-specific terms, the engagement-specific terms shall prevail.
